Schedule for the Day
We are so glad to have you join us at Unity Farm Sanctuary today. Below, you will see a general outline for what you will be doing today.
10:00 AM - Arrive
- visit the welcome table to check in and receive nametags
- proceed to the courtyard for educational presentations by the LEAP class
- LEAP students Emma Ahern and Rou O'Donnell will be available for story readings and/or have coloring pages available for any young guests
12:30 PM (if presentations are completed) - Lunch
- enjoy a plant-based taco bar with all the fixings and assorted desserts
- listen to poetry read by LEAP student Emmalia Witcher
1:00 - 1:30 PM - Start sanctuary tours
- three staggered student-led tours of the sanctuary
-->15-minute intervals
- whoever eats first and finishes first will be in the first tour, whoever finishes next will be in the second tour, etc.
- QR codes will be available at the paddocks to scan and learn more about our rescues
3:00 PM - Conclusion
- be prepared that things may run over
Other items of note
We will be joined by a few special guests. Danielle Hanosh, Co-Founder and Executive Director of LEAP and Co-Founder of Blackberry Creek Farm Animal Sanctuary in Colfax, CA will be in attendance. Also joining us will be her father Jerry and close friend Joann.
